Stephen Sanders, M.D.

After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr. Stephen Sanders attended one of our country’s top medical schools at Baylor College of Medicine where he obtained his doctorate in medicine and additional training in the field of Medical Ethics at the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy in Houston, Texas. During his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, affiliated with the Texas A&M College of Medicine, he was the recipient of numerous research awards and served as the Junior Fellow Vice Chair and later Junior Fellow Chair of the Texas Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Resident Representative to the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

After completing his specialty training in 2002 he entered private practice in Southern Utah where he founded one of the most technologically progressive and patient-centered practices in the region with the Cedar City Insitute of Women’s Health. He has been actively involved in multiple endeavors that have helped to better integrate technology in improving patient care, having served as a board member for e-MDs and TouchMDs, which he helped design.

As a physician, Dr. Sanders enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology but has a deep fondness for obstetrics and helping couples with fertility challenges as well as new minimally invasive gynecologic surgical techniques and helping menopausal women with bioidentical hormone therapy.
